my inlaws have a 1bedroom apt with an eat in kitchen, huge living room, storage room, crawl space storage, laundry room, new bathroom, ceiling, and paint. Kitchen has a dishwasher too. Private entrance and on street parking in Bellmore. They are asking $1200 a month with all utilities. Tenant is responsible for cable and phone

I think if it has basement windows (the small ones), probably somewhere between $925-975. If it has regular windows, then $1000+. As a renter, I would be hesitant to pay $1000 for a traditional small-window basement apartment.

ETA: Having grown up in Huntington, I think you can increase the rental price if the apartment is close to the Village or the water. People like being able to walk to the bars or the beach

I paid $875 for a basement studio in Seaford 4 years ago and $900 a month for a basement one bedroom in Farmingville 2 years ago. All with cable and utilities included.

You could probably get at least $1k without utilities, $1,100 including all, especially with driveway parking and a full bathroom.

I would definitely say $1000 tp $1200/all included.
You are in Huntington so you should be able to get a bit more than other areas.

ETA: The central air is a BIG selling factor.
