Need Creative Help with my Parents 30th Anniversary Gift......
Dh and I got them tickets to one of their favorite bands- Earth, Wind and Fire at Jones Beach in September.
I wanted to do something creative to give them tickets, other than putting the tickets in a card. I was thinking of trying to put some things in a box to keep them guessing.....I was thinking of getting a mini globe for Earth, and maybe a lighter or something for Fire- but I'm at a loss for something to represent wind. Anyone have any clues?
I'm totally open to other ideas other than this one too- just cant think of anything else!

A small handheld fan. The type you can use at the beach when you're hot.

A mini hand-held fan? A wind chime? A small garden weather vane?

Maybe you can do a little hand made puzzle with scrambled song lyrics- they would have to put the puzzle together and then look at the scrambled song lyrics to figure out the significance . . . .

Thank you- I was going to post pinwheel- but then had a brain fart and thought I was wrong with the name of the object!(re: pinwheel)

I hope this isnt a stupid question, but how do I go about making a hand made puzzle?

Get a piece of oaktag or heavy duty paper. Write your message in print, add desings (maybe representing your message).
Then, lightly (with a pencil) divide up the oaktag into puzzle piece shapes (I'd have to draw it to show you). Make sure the pieces will interlock with the others. Don't make too many pieces...it'll get confusing. Cut out each peice and put in a box.
If you have time and don't feel that creative, most teacher supply stores sell blank puzzles that you can draw on (used as teraching tools). You can buy that then design it with your message.
