Need dermatologist in northport/huntington area.
Hello all!
This is a completely vain post but, would a dermatologist prescribe me retin a or something along those anti gaining lines simply because I asked for it? I have good skin, but am 35 and want to be more progressive in my skincare regiment.
If so, can you recommend someone in the northport, huntington area?

Dr. Lee at North Shore Medical Group did for me. 
But I think prescribing Retin-A for women in their late 20s - early 30s is pretty routine for derms these days.

Thanks! That's definitely close enough for me. Did you find that the retin-a helped your skin texture? Mine is good, but could use a little "help".

Unfortunately I have to keep discontinuing use because I keep getting pregnant.  It's definitely a product that needs long term use (a year plus) to see any significant improvement, but I think there's a slight improvement with fine lines when I do use it.
Dr. Lee is very straight forward. He is a proponent of Retin-A and sunblock. I had gone to him for a skin check in my early 30s and that's when he prescribed the Retin-A as a preventative measure. He did the same for my sister. And he tries to help out with the cost of the topical because many insurance companies won't cover the cost because it's considered cosmetic, so I know he used to have a deal worked out with Value Drugs.

I used to see dr lee also. He prescribed it for me but to fade a very dark sun spot. My insurance didnt cover it for that use though so I had to pay OOP
