Need Fast Advice- Tummy Trouble
DS had loose stools and then just puked a lot while we were out. I decided not to take him to the dr. - he is teething badly and I have a feeling this is part of it, but he did throw up a lot. He is 11.5 months.
Should I give a little pedialyte in his water?
What about dinner? Cheerios and maybe eggs? Is chicken better- more bland? Or no dinner and just cheerios?
He is in good spirits so I don't know what it is, I am going to watch him and of course if he seems off the rest of the night or tomorrow am - I'll take him to docs.
TIA!

bananas, rice, apple sauce and toast BRAT diet
He will get all the "salts" he needs from banana. The others will help settle tummy.
Give water when ever he takes it. Monitor for fever in case its a stomach bug.

Thanks - would u give him the normal nightime bottle of formula? Or just water? I also don't want him to be hungry during the night.

Re: Need Fast Advice- Tummy Trouble
BRAT diet -rice balls (*home made, let me know if you want the recipe) work really well for us - no milk - lots of water. Pedialyte will help. I also like the pedisure "milkshakes" after he seems to be feeling a bit better, this way he gets the nutrition.
Hope he feels better soon
