Need gift ideas for my 3 yr. old niece
I have no idea what to get her for Christmas. I already bought an outfit from the Gap and the book Pinkalicious. I want to get her a big gift. I know the dress up trunk is good for her age. But what else? Maybe a doll with accessories (like a high chair)? Anything else? I am lost 
ETA: What dress up trunk does your DD have?

My nieces (3 & 4) LOVE anything princess. I got them disney princess dolls for christmas. I have also in the past year bought a dollhouse that they love and some dress up clothes. They also love to play with baby dolls, their play kitchen and anything musical. For their bdays I got them the Leapster 2s and a game each and those have been a huge hit! My friend loves the half hour they play those each day cause it is the only half hour of peace and quiet.

Honestly - I would ask the parents. I hate that DD gets repeats of stuff at the holidays becasue NOBODY bothers to ask me what she wants, or if they do they just refuse to listen.
