Need good bakery for Italian cookies! Suffolk or Nassau Cty
We're coming up this week from NC and I just HAVE to get some good Italian Cookies. Can anyone suggest a good bakery in Suffolk County? We're staying in Centereach so anywhere by there. Either there, Holbrook, Ronkonkoma, Lake Ronkonkoma, etc. Thanks!

Benkerts Bakery...right in Centereach on Middle Country Rd.

Benkerts is a good bakery, but they don't have great Italian cookies. I grew up in that area and no place comes to mind. If you'd be will to travel, Garguilo's in St. James has great Italian cookies.

Also, how about in Nassau County by Oakfield Avenue in Wantagh? I'll be by there to see my Grandma. Thanks again!

Iavarone Brother's in Wantagh (Wantagh Ave and Jerusalem Ave)- has THE BEST italian cookies I have ever had!

LOVE dortoni. they did my wedding cake and while i was in there picking it out i ordered a hundred different things to go. all their stuff is amazing!
