Need help - 5 month old crying durring feedings

Kyle use to be a good eater. Now it seems he cries durring alot of the feedings. Here's his schedule.

Wake up 3-4 am- put in binky, possibly rock to sleep again.

wake up 6-7am: 8 oz formula( 1/2 lactose free, 1/2 lactose free rice starch added) and oatmeal with fruit mixed or just a fruit.

4 hours later - 6 oz formula, container baby food mixed with rice cereal - daycare

4 hours later- 8 oz bottle - daycare

4 hours later- 6 oz bottle & container baby food- possibly with oatmeal. depending on if i did in the morning.

** daycare was noticing that he wasnt finishing the 8oz when he was eating the other stuff thats why it was cut back to 6oz....

HELP! Is the food, does he need more? we try the same things with tapping our leg and all that use to work and they dont seem to work anymore. He is in the teething stage for a while now, no teeth though.
