Need help finding area rug and window treatments
I was looking for something green and white striped for the window (like in the bedding) and something more colorful for the rug, like a solid rug with a colorful border. Has to be gender neutral because room is for boy & girl twins. I hate pastel colors and want the room to be bright and cheery. I can't find anything I like so please help!
Here are pics of the room stuff:
Walls will be yellow on top with white wainscoting on bottom.
Here's the paint color
Bedding - pottery barn kids kasey
I have red gingham sheets/cribskirt for the girl and blue for the boy
Furniture
2 cribs
2 dressers
1 changing table dresser
artwork
Also have something like this with 8 bins - 2 of each red, light blue, pink, and light green

Check out Country Curtains online. They may have something.  BTW......LOVE all the bedding and decor! Too cute!

Cute bedding!
I wouldn't do a full striped curtain, it may be too much with the striped bedding, but maybe something like this:

And a rug like this (also pbteen.com)...
Or a plain green shag rug.

I'd get sheer curtains (you can pick these up anywhere... even JCPenney) in green or yellow (if you really need curtains). I'm going naked windows in my whole house (look at the pics you posted: NO window treatments).
I'd get a single color area rug that matches the curtains. Go to a rug/carpet store for those. Personally, I like Montauk carpets in LI.
You've got a lot of color going on in there. I'd go with simple for curtains & rugs.

Thank you! I definitely need to do something on the windows to keep light out. I am probably going with wood blinds (maybe white ones) and a valance. I can't find the right color solid green rug/valances. I have looked in every store and every popular website.

definately go to kohls.com..i needed a pink and white and black circle rug and couldnt find one ANYWHERE..then a website led me to Kohls...awesome curtains/rugs..i couldnt believe it!! def. check it out!!

Are you opposed to green gingham (or any color) curtains? It would look great with the bedding and PBK makes blackout ones.

No, I'm not opposed to it. I was going to order that a while ago but DH thinks it looks like a tablecloth.  If I can't find anything else, too bad for him! Thanks for reminding me I forgot all about it.
