NEED HELP: finding Daycare/Learning Centers that have 1/2 day programs.

Does your daycare/learning center offer 1/2 day programs?

I would like to enroll my son when he turns 18 months for 1/2 day programs maybe 2-3 days a week. One quote I received was pretty much the same price they would charge for two full days a week. I thought that was pretty ridiculous.

People have told me that I should put him in full days so he gets the "full experience" of a structured program. I might consider that if I can't find anything but for now I'm looking for something 4 hours a day 2-3 days a week.

Know of any place?????????

Daycares are going to be more since your child would be taking a spot that could be used for someone f/t who would pay the f/t rate. So they compensate by making the p/t rate A LOT. You should look for an actual nursery school/pre school. What town are you in?

I'm in the Huntington township. I appreciate any suggestions.

For now, I will get him going at some Gymboree classes and classes held at the Huntington YMCA. I just wanted more of a learning/socializing type of atmosphere that lasts more than 45 minutes.
