My food question of the day... haha

I was eating edamame the other night, and had a late night brain fart.

I know that many of you women have said that you give your DC soy beans as a snack. Now, I boil them so that they are harder when they come out (that's the way that I like them)...

When making them for your DC do you just cook them a little more so that they are softer/mushier, OR do you just let the kiddies have at them the way that you cook them... Kristina is 11 months old tomorrow Chat Icon and has tooth #7 almost fully out, and #8 is a blister ready to pop! I'm not sure if she is age/tooth appropriate for how I eat them....

Can you cut them in half the way you make them?

Bella's been munchin' on edamame for a very long time now.

I just steam them like I would normally for myself and usually pop them out of the skin (there's a coating on the bean itself she doesn't like to eat Chat Icon )

I totally could... I think I'm just going to have to try it b/c I'm just not sure if she is able to break down the bean - The way that I make it, it's kind of almost raw but not.

I know you are probably sitting there Chat Icon at me... Chat Icon Sorry Kate! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Really???? When did Bella start eating them (roughly)... I just get concerned with her really EATING things b/c she's a little bit of a piggy dog.... I put things down on her table, and she scoops it all up in one fell swoop and shoves it all in not realizing that she has to chew....

She gags herself at dinnertime at least 2x each and EVERY single day Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon
