Need help finding Florida Hotel
My dh, ds and I are going to Florida to relax, sit on the beach and see some family. We wanted to stay close to West Palm Beach but are willing to travel a few miles up or down the coast. We wanted to stay at the Marriot in Delray Beach but
Can anyone recommend a nice hotel, either on the beach or across the street from the beach that is within walking distance to some restaurants and shops?
TIA!

Did you try the Marriott West Palm Beach?
Also check out
Hilton Singer Island Hilton Garden Inn
My cousin got married recently and a few of his friends stayed at the Hampton Inn and said it was really nice (not like the regular Hampton inns, this one was new)

Oh, also, not sure if you'd be interested but I looked at my timeshare booklet and saw this one resort that looks really nice. it's called Palm Beach Shores Resort and Vacation Villas. You can get a unit with a kitchen (that's always great when you have kids)

Re: Need help finding Florida Hotel
Not sure how far you want to go from West Palm, but for our anniversary in June we went to the Ritz Carlton in Key Biscayne, FL. HIGHLY recommend that hotel... right on the beach, amazing rooms and great food! I did a review a while back.
Also the Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa in Hollywood, FL is gorgeous! Also right on the beach... amazing pools too.
Both are a little more expensive than $200/night, but if you go on priceline.com you can name your price and usually get them for around $200/night.
HTH!

Can you stay there without being a member of the timeshare? (I am hijacking this post )

Re: Need help finding Florida Hotel
We did Deerfield Beach last year, there are hotels all up and down the intercoastal highway, we stay at a timeshare, but we also stayed at the Embassy Suites in Deerfield when my son had the chicken pox...it was a really nice hotel. It was good especially for us because there was a separate bedroom and living room so my poxy son could sleep and we could watch TV.

I heard this hotel was Awesome...but a little pricey for the time we wanted to go!

It is a great hotel in a great location, but you have to pay for parking and the parking is valet only. So if you want your car, you have to get it from the underground garage and give the guys a tip. Its silly.
