Need Help formulating a work out routine . . .
I need to get me a$$ in grear. I have a membership to Planet Fitness in Centereach. I live in Lake Grove (by the mall). I work full time 8:30 - 5:30 Monday - Friday in East Islip. I leave the house between 7:50 - 8am and don't get home until 6-6:10pm.
I have a DS who goes to school (in Ronkonkoma) - I drop him off some days and DH drops him off some days. DH has a crazy rotating schedule that is not very consistant.
I would not be opposed to getting up and going to the gym @ 6 or 6:30am however there are days when DH is not home and I cannot leave DS home alone.
I've contemplated dropping this gym membership and getting one with childcare, however I don't want to have to wake DS up at 6 to go with me to the gym (he usually sleeps until sometime after 7am)
I also will start walking at work during lunch, but I don't think that is enough.
HELP!!!!!!

Re: Need Help formulating a work out routine . . .
I work 8:30-5:30 M-F. We leave the house at 7:20am and usually walk in the door at 7pm. Thurs nights I bring both DDs to the gym with me for a 7pm Zumba. They go to the daycare at the gym.
Then I go Sat mornings and I bring them with me then as well. Sun mornings I also go but they do not have daycare so they stay home with DH.
I was also doing the C25K program for a while. I would run at night right after I put the girls to sleep when DH was home.
I belong to Lucille Roberts and it's really cheap. They don't have great hours, but it works for me.

Re: Need Help formulating a work out routine . . .
I wake up between 430am-445am and run outside! I usually do 4 -4.5 miles and leave for work around 615 ish. My girls are sleeping as well as my husband. Doing it first thing in the morning really helps me stick with it- I have no other option. I work fulll time and I find it easier to wake up super early and just do it! I tend to go to bed between 9-930. Try waking up early? Once you get it done and over with you feel so much better. I feel its sets up my entire day.
