Need help getting back into scrapbooking

I used to scrapbook all the time and have a ton of supplies. Then one thing after another happened and I stopped.

We moved in 2006 and my stuff is all over the place. Last night I went through some of it and I realized I am, oh, 5 years behind!!! I have the itch to get back into it but I'm not sure where to start.

Should I go back to where I stopped 5 years ago? A lot has happened since then like my wedding and my son!!!

Or should I start with my son since it's so fresh in my mind?

I didn't think I was in such bad shape until I opened up a book I had bought with all the wedding stuff!!!

Any thoughts or ideas would be appreaciated.

start with one LO - grab a current picture and work backwards - anything just to get started again

What I do when I fall behind.......pick just the things you really really want to scrapbook, things that maybe you already have ideas for, do those pages or least least half of them. Put the rest of the pictures you are behind on into albums so you have them at least somewhat organized. Start scrapbooking your current day stuff.

I'm in the same position. I have been out of it for about 3 yrs. I am just going to start with current events & my wedding. If I have time to go backwards, then I will. But, if I plan to start from years ago then I'll never start again
