Need Help. NYC hotel for 30 year olds!
I am hoping you guys can help me. When we stay in NYC its with my kids so bar scene not needed. I have a friend who will be visiting NYC in Jan for her 30th birthday - there will be 4 of them ranging in age from 25-30. They would like it to be central, 4 star and hip!!
Any ideas greatly appreciated as I haven't seen "hip" for awhile.

We stayed at the Strand on 36th between 5th & 6th I think, for our anniversary last year. We had a great experience! And they have a nice rooftop bar.

They are looking at 4 star hotels online so would say anything up to $400 per night would be a contender. They are coming here from the UK so are looking to see as much of NYC as they can in a short period of time and experience something different to the UK. Thanks

I am more of a downtown girl and we always stay at the Tribeca or Soho Grand.
