I need to do teh two following assignents. Any help with what texts to use and a general idea of teh minilesonw oudl be GREATLY appreciaited! BTW when they says mini lesson format found in readings its teh workshop model they are referring too. TIA..

Using the mini-lesson format found in the readings, develop a reading mini-lesson for your classroom. Deliver the mini-lesson. Post the lesson (be sure to use the format given in your readings.) Include the grade level you teach when typing out the lesson, as well as any materials necessary to present the lesson.
As part of the mini-lesson you share, post at least two mentor or anchor texts that would support the lesson. Be sure to post the title, author, and grade level for which you used it.


AND

Develop and present a guided reading lesson in your classroom. Describe for us the students you worked with. At what level were the students? What was the focus of the guided reading lesson? What text did you use? How did you present the lesson?

I use the workshop model in grade 4 and have many mini lessons and GR lessons. FM if you still need!
