Need help with gift ideas for the family I adopted for Xmas
Its a widowed mom, whose mother is dying and on life support, her 6th grade daughter and 9th grade son. I did get their wish list, but here it is:
Girl:
fake uggs
a shirt from Avril Levignes Clothing line at Kohls
Boy:
anything yankees world series
nerf gun
I think its sweet that their lists were so modest, but I would like to get them something else. I just dont know what 9th grade boys and 6th grade girls like. I was going to get them each a gift card to target so they can get whatever they want. But I was thinking one or two more gifts for them to each open.
Any ideas?

Awww that's so nice of you!
I think I'd get them more stuff like they mentioned--maybe get her 2 shirts, or a shirt and a sweatshirt or PJs (I don't know anything about Avril's clothing line!) and I'd get him more Yanks stuff--maybe a sweatshirt, hat, or fleece.

For the 9 year old girl I gifted this Christmas I got the doll she requested but also got a stocking and filled it with some things for her...she asked for makeup so I got some little things from Target, some slipper socks, those 180 earmuffs, gloves, candy, crayons & craft items.
Maybe something along those lines?

Well I don't know what you are looking for but I will tell you what my four neices and nephews ages 11-14 want.
Its probably too much money.
