Need some other 2yr old boy XMAS gift ideas

this is what I got DS so far....

Thomas Tent

TAG junior and some books for it

Black and Decker Tool bench

Percy for the Thomas Duplo Set

Some assorted Thomas Wooden railway items

I need like 2 more mid sized gifts and lots of stocking stuffers. Any ideas?

do you guys do a lot of arts and crafts?

that's what i always put in dc's stocking.

moon sand as well. he loves that stuff.

I'm doing similar things to you. I was also thinking of doing a little table/chairs and an arts & crafts/easel thing. In his stocking, I'll prob do DVDs, books and Thomas trains.

sure...at dollar tree, walmart, sometimes michaels..

stock up on glue sticks, googly eyes, pom poms, stickers, crayons, construction paper, scissors...

things like that. just start out making pictures.

we made a lot of faces to start off with. loves cutting yarn for hair.

now we are going to start paper mache. i keep putting it off, but going to make planets for his room.

stamps are great. he loves making wrapping paper with them.

One of DSs medium sized gifts will be the play dough r2d2 machine thing with some big tubs of play dough. It is from Target.

I got DS a foam ABC area mat.
I got a great city play mat from LTD Commodities that has roads and comes w/ plastic cars ($12) - I have replacing the plastic cars w/ matchbox type cars.

ETA: I forgot the best part - it folds up and stores all the cars

I want to get the Thomas Lego thing...he needs more legos and Thomas is always a big hit!


As far as A&Cs go - One day DS came home from school with a black painted stryofoam bowl with a red dot on it. Sine he was only 20 mos, he couldn't tell me what it was. Turns out, it was a smoke detector.

Yesterday he had glued q-tips to a page to make a scheleton for halloween.

Over the weekend he got into my scrapbooking stuff so I gave him some old stickers to put on a piece of paper. They were words so he had no idea what it said but it got him out of my stuff.

We also put Thomas stickers on his pumpkin this year to decorate it b/c markers and paint seemed too messy for me. He called it his Thomas Pump(k)in.
