Need interesting/different toys for 13 month old... seems like she's just so bored with everything!
She loves to figure things out and will master how her toys work really quickly. The Learning Home she still likes but already knows how to do everything on it and it doesn't hold her attention as long anymore.
Any ideas on really interesting/different toys for 12-18 months or even older (as long as there are no tiny pieces)? Everything I see in the stores just seems so baby-ish and uninteresting.
She loves her dolls and stuffed animals and will push them around in her baby stroller, she loves loves to dance, likes to push buttons and open/close bins, put stuff inside, etc.

DD LOVED this animal hospital toy from Parents. I got it at Target. At almost 3 she still plays with it. I think it's a good grow with me toy bc in the beginning they can't really use the key to open the doors but when they learn colors and how to match they figure it out.

DS started loving non-toys! He gets sick of his bright colored toys so easily and wants to play with anything and everything that is not a toy.
This morning, DS had a blast playing with q tips and cotton pads.

Check the store. I saw that toy (or something very similar) at target last week. I wanted to get it for DD but she's a little too young for it.

one tip I use and it works well is to not have everything out at once. For instance, he box of mega blocks only gets taken out on the weekends and when we do, its like a brand new toy. Same with his puzzles and little peoples.

Same with DD I can't get her interested in any of her toys! I am going to go get her this piano I saw at target, she likes music so maybe this will keep her occupied.
I wish I could just put her in front of her dresser and let her take her clothes out all day because that seems to be her favorite thing to do but I am tired of folding them back up!!

I actually do this and also I keep some toys in the playroom only and some in her room. She gets excited to see a toy she hasn't seen in a while but that doesn't last very long b/c they are just not that interesting!

I just got DS the Fisher Price Laugh and Learn kitchen, and he is obsessed with it! It does so many things, and is also compact, so it doesn't take up too much space.
