Need Living Room color suggestions ASAP! (UPDATE)
We thought we knew what we wanted to do but when we put the samples on the wall, we weren't blown away by any of them.
Below is a photo of the living room before (with the seller's stuff). The only thing that remains unchanged is the fireplace.
We need a paint color that will complement the fireplace and go with dark-stained wood floors and white trim.
We were looking at beige-tans, like BM Lenox Tan and BM Bradstreet Beige but we didn't like any of them. We thought of going a little gray-er but a warm gray if that makes sense. Also considering a green. Can anyone help suggest a color for us to consider???
TIA!

We ended up going with BM Herbal Escape. I had to help DH choose remotely so that was a bit of a challenge but he (and FIL, who is helping him) thinks it looks great. I think it looks good from DH's cell phone photo but I can't wait to see it in person.

Re: Need Living Room color suggestions ASAP!
are there any windows in the room or is the track lighting your main source of light? what about the carpet? is that changing?
recently, i've been obsessed with teal paint in living rooms. you might want to try a light sage green if you are thinking green. I think it really depends on the lighting. if you go too dark, the room will feel like a cave.

Re: Need Living Room color suggestions ASAP!
For natural light, there is a 10'x5' foot wide window in the front (to the left of the table in the photo) and another 3'6"x5'9" window to the right of the photo. The blinds were drawn and it was a cloudy December day when this photo was taken so it does look dark.
As for lights, the track lighting is long gone... we are putting accent recessed lighting in its place. I'm still working on visualizing our other lighting options.
ETA: Carpet is gone. We are having the wood floors stained dark, like dark walnut.

BM hot spring stones is a warm grey/taupe color that would probably play off the fireplace well.

Mmm, maybe make the wall with the fireplace a focus wall with a darker color and the other walls a lighter complimentary tone. Even dark beige/tan, burgandy/tan, sage/honey.
