Need lunch ideas for a picky toddler
Keep in mind that daycare is nut free
I've given: pasta (he's sick of it) Cold cut sandwiches (wont touch them) Beef stroganoff (he will eat it, but its a bit much to have every day) Cheese sandwiches (hasnt touched them since he turned 2) Cream cheese toast (sometimes eats it, sometimes wont) Chicken and veggies (hasnt eaten it since he was 2) Mac and cheese (not the healthiest of choices and sometimes wont eat that either)
Ideas?

Pastina- with chicken broth or butter or cheese. You can also add peas.
Bagel or raisin toast with cc, or apple butter, side of fruit.
Yogurt, side of fruit.
Applesauce, and or mixed fruit, w/ plain graham crackers.
Cheese and crackers.
Eggs- you can add anything to them.
Muffins- You can add veggies and fruit to the mix.
Raw veggies with dip.
Pizza bagels or english muffins.
Soups- Chicken, lentil, pea, etc...
Croissant with honey.
Waffles with peanut butter. (sub pb for sunflower seed butter, or any other type.)
Matzo cracker with cc, jelly, apple butter, pear butter, pumpkin butter, anything really.

Re: Need lunch ideas for a picky toddler
These are some good ideas, thank you (keep em coming). I have a sincerely dumb question...ready? Is yogurt and some fruit "enough" to fill them up? I isually always include a yogurt, but usually in addition to pasta or something else. I think yogurt, and I think snack, not meal. He always eats the yogurts thougj. Maybr i'm giving too much food?

I think yogurt and fruit is a meal. My 2y/o has that for breakfast or lunch sometimes.
I like to give 4 small meals rather than 3 larger meals. If your DC is in daycare they may not have the option to have many small meals. I would probably do yogurt and fruit for breakfast or snack, or in addition to a muffin or mini bagel with lunch.
