Need toddler lunch ideas, please!
DD would be happy as a clam if I only gave her grilled cheese and mac & cheese for lunch, but we need to branch out
Ideas, please!

Re: Need toddler lunch ideas, please!
Sometimes I give DS "breakfasty" foods for lunch to change things up-- like scrambled eggs, a little cheese omelet, french toast, etc. I just give that with some fruit and it's a nice lunch. Or soup, either homemade, or an organic canned soup. Sometimes I also give him "dinner" type foods as well, if there's leftovers from the night before-- chicken, meatballs, etc.
We have the same issue where there's one or two lunches DS would eat EVERY DAY, but in our case the big fave is peanut butter and jelly. I go through ridiculous amounts of peanut butter because DH and I are addicted to it too.

Re: Need toddler lunch ideas, please!
Fruit - Strawberries, Grapes, Pears, apples tomatoes (DS actually loves raw tomatoes chopped up) etc. and something from the below ex.'s...
Alphabet pasta or whole wheat pasta with veggies mixed in (many times I mix in meat (chicken, meat balls etc) from the night b/f too)
QUinoa with veggies or beans or chick peas
Dr. Prager's Spinach Pancakes
Eggs with bread and sometimes cheese
Turkey (in patty form like a burger broken up) with avocado and tomatoes...
Lunch is usually DS's biggest meal and then he just picks for dinner...

Re: Need toddler lunch ideas, please!
My kids are great with lunch, but I agree, the ideas get old so fast!
They live on PB&J on wheat bread, grilled cheese, PB&J on Ritz cracker sandwichs, mac and cheese, rolled up turkey, ham or bologna, apple slices, yogurt, any kind of plain pasta, pizza, etc.

Re: Need toddler lunch ideas, please!
CreamCheese & Turkey on Pumpernickel Bread
Veggie Burgers with Tzatziki sauce
Hummas and Pita (Sabra Hummus is very creamy and my kids seem to prefer it)
Leftover pasta with brocolli, Butter, & Cheese
Most of the time lunch is what was for dinner the night before....
