Need motivation ladies... What exercise regimen are you into now while
Going through these treatments. I dabbled in kick boxing and cycling over summer. Think it's too intense for infertility treatments. I bike ride and walk during spring summer in LB but now it's too cold.
Not sure if I should join the gym again, try yoga, Pilates? What seems to be working for you.
Also what healthy changes did you make to your diet? I need quick simple changes to meals.

Re: Need motivation ladies... What exercise regimen are you into now while
I found this link on another forum for a long list of supplements. Supplement list
I am starting yoga and just light cardio.
This time, I changed my diet a little. I read a book called The Infertility cleanse, but I didn't go crazy. I just limited my dairy, increased my fruits and veggies, increased protein, trying to go as organic as I can, limited carbs, limited gluten foods, trying not to eat too much processed foods and canned foods, only one cup of caffeinated coffee/day.

Same as Goldie. I have been gluten free since summer, nothing processed, mostly fresh veggies/fruits and protein. The waldbaums by us has a gluten free section in the back along with natural, organic foods. I'm also doing cardio but I'll admit exercise has been limited due to the cold temps. I have Reynauds and avoid cold temps at all cost! One thing I learned is that your organs and hormones respond heavily to your diet. My estrogen lowered a lot since going gluten free.

Re: Need motivation ladies... What exercise regimen are you into now while
In between cycles I did my normal exercise routine - so I ran about 45 miles a week and lifted 2 times a week.
For CD 1-3 of the cycle, I would continue to run since there is really no growth of follicles at that point (nurse at RMA said it was fine).
CD 4-ER, I would swim and walk. I walked A LOT - probably 60+ minutes a day at a moderate pace. If I felt okay after the ER, I would also go on a walk, but they were usually shorter. From ET to beta, I would do very little - maybe a short walk to get the blood pumping, but that was it.
I kept my diet the same, but typically I eat pretty well so I was not too concerned about that.
ETA: If you enjoy walking, try joining a cheap gym just to use the treadmill or you can just walk the halls of your school - lots of people I work with do that.

I'm constantly walking in school-always on the go. I'm not a runner...I do walk the boardwalk and bike ride but not in this bitter cold. Thanks for advice. Small changes is better than no change at all.

I've been doing barre classes at the yoga studio. I'm in love with them!! I have been going once a week since September and have seen such a difference in my body. It's perfect because its low impact. I highly recommend taking a class.

Before my Ivf cycle that brought me my son, I did couch to 5k. I just got the app on my phone and had a lot of fun with it. I'll be restarting one of these days......

Need motivation ladies... What exercise regimen are you into now while
Since I'm on a break for a while I figure its time to loose these 5-10 IF lbs. My body just isn't the same after a full year of going to a RE. I am on myfitnesspal.com. I have been on there for a couple of years but slacked with all this IF crap. Its free and you can log your food and exercise. It helps to keep you accountable.
Before IF I worked out a lot. The past year I worked out but not as much as I used to. I guess I was always scared to work out too hard in the 2ww this past year. A couple of weeks ago I stared eating a bit healthier. I'm trying not to snack after dinner. I am also doing the treadmill a few days a week and lifting light weights. I'm gonna aim to work out 4-5 days and once the weather gets nicer I will run outside again and bike ride.
Groupon has lots of workout deals so you can try different things out.
