Need opinions on missing someones bday...
Last year our neighbors, which we hang out with like once or twice a month on average, got me and DH and birthday gift (something small, just a bottle of liquor). Well this year, I just realized that one of their birthdays just passed and we totally forgot about it. Do I get her something now and admit we totally forgot? Her bday was sometime in March (not sure on the day). We have since hung out w/them once so its obvious we forgot. What should I do? TIA!!

I think it can't hurt to admit you forgot. IMO, it would be a nice gesture to admit your "brain fart" with a lovely bottle of wine.

I don't think its too late. I am sure they understand you have been a bit pre-occupied and have a lot going on right now. A gift is great to get whether on time or late!!
