Need quick advice, wwyd?
I was suppose to go to a launch party for my friend's lawfirm tonight. The party was called for 7pm at the office.
DH should be home any minute- and I can't leave until he comes home. I've called the cell, office and his wife's cell.
Is it even worth while to go? IT's a half hour away. Do you think it will still be going on?
He is a good friend of mine and has been really supportive of me- offered me a job when I thought I would lose mine.

I would still go. I think he would appreciate it - even if you are late and the party was winding down.

I would probably not go at this hour. It would be at the very least winding down when you got there.
I would just send a note or call tomorrow and express your regret at not being able to make it.
