Need quick help! What size needle am I supposed to use for the Menopur?
And what the heck do I do with that plastic thing that comes with the vials?

The Q-cap is for mixing the meds. You should have a short, maybe 27 gauge needle for the menopur injection itself.

Also, 1cc is nothing.....it isn't even marked on the needle. I am so confused!

The 22 should be long, the others much shorter. What are the markings on the syringe? I've never had one that didn't have increments upto 1cc

Ok, The ones I have are 271/2 that i use to inject the meds. Are the 22 gauge needles attached to a syringe...mine are atteched to a 3ml syringe, marked from .1 on up to 3ml. Just FYI ml and cc's are the same units of measurement.

You inject with the 27.5 needle and the actual syringe should be a 3 ml. You only take out 1ml of the sodium cl though.

I think I got it. I just did it with your help! Thanks so much! I got confused because I have been using the needles that came with the lupron so far. I also used them for the ganirelix. I hadn't used the 3ml one yet.

Phew...I need to go to bed and wanted to make sure you got it all figured out!!
I had to run and pull out my big box o meds to check the needle sizes for ya!!
