I have no recommendation for handy man, but the last time mine was on the fritz i called whirlpool, and they connected me to the repair dept and they walked me through fixing it. Much cheaper than paying for repair, i would suggest doing this before calling in professional, sometimes its an easy fix GL!

whats wrong with it? mY DH is an appliance tech. maybe we can diagnose it over the web! wouldnt be the first time! Tell me what kind it is and what it is doing..and ill ask him

He's come out to do work on our washer - prompt and less expensive than I expected. I got his name from someone on here and I think she had him fix her refrigerator. He's my appliance guy from now on!
I think he's in Babylon - not sure how far he travels - we're in Sayville
