need salon recommendation- south shore nassau area
hi all,
my mother's favorite salon in wantagh is closing and she is looking for another one that is decently priced, she gets her hair cut and colored and wants a place that does a good job but does not charge an arm and a leg... any recommendations? somewhere around seaford/massapequa/wantagh areas.

I go to HAIR Designers in East Meadow. All the girls are great there.

I'm actually trying them out next week. My friend goes there and her hair is amazing. I'm going to Amy, she only works Thursdays so we'll see

Salon D'Arel in East meadow, on the N bellmore border. Hope this helps! I get a wash, cut and blow dry for 25.00. They all do a great job in there.

I go to Giovanna's in massapequa.
DH's Aunt owns Impulse Salon which is in massapequa/seaford area.
both are good!

Ashley's Place on Wantagh Ave in Wantagh. Its in the little shopping center with the Circle M Diner. Its a super tiny place- but honestly, I'm hooked! A full head of highlights plus a hair cut AND a tip cost me around $85. Their haircuts are $20. The owner (Ashley) is super young. I think she's 20- but she's sooo experienced! A few of my friends and family have been there and they have nothing but good things to say about it!
