Need Some Advice On Selling Some Gold Jewelry PLEASE...

I know the price of gold is way up! How can I estimate how much I may get for two pieces that together were appraised for over 3,000. I am confused. Is there a way to guess what I might get if I sell it based on knowing what they're worth from an appraisel I already have? These are two very old pieces that were left to me:)

PS. Do I need to shop around for places that buy gold? I am in Medford, anyone have any good recommendation of a reputable place that gives top $?

Like the PP said, it goes by the weight. Yes, shop around because some places will give you a better price than others!

It has nothing to do with the appraisal whatsoever. It goes by the ounce and some places will give you more $$ per ounce.

as said above...it has nothing to do with what the item appraised for. They will just weigh it and they pay a certain about per ounce of gold.

it has nothing to do with the appraisal, that is what the retail price would be.

they dont buy in the once they buy in the penny weight. there is a different break down to selling gold. when i wanna stock our store thats when the ounce price comes into effect.

and dont forget that the $1300 price that you see for gold is in ounces and that is for 24 pure gold.

if you wanna stop in my store and get a price FM and ill let you know where we are.
