Re: Need some Chop Meat recipes
I make with ground turkey, but I bet you could substitute chop meat
GROUND TURKEY ENCHILADAS
1 1/2 lbs ground turkey 1 pkg frozen spinach - thawed and drained 2 cups salsa 1 can diced tomatoes 1 pkg flour tortillas 2 cups Mexican blend cheese 1 8 oz. block cream cheese ground cumin to taste
Cook ground turkey in skillet until no longer pink over medium heat. Add drained spinach and 1 cup of salsa to turkey and cumin to taste (about 1 tsp). Cook about 5 minutes until all liquid is absorbed. Remove from heat and add cream cheese. Mix until melted. Lay flour tortilla flat and place 1/3 cup mix, roll and place in greased 13x9 inch pan with flat side up. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
Remove from oven and top with 1 cup salsa mixed with can of diced tomatoes and additional cumin to taste. Top with cheese. Return to oven for 5 minutes until cheese is melted.

Re: Need some Chop Meat recipes
brown chop meat, season w/garlic powder, onion powder, s&P, add a jar of your favorite tomato sauce and, if desired, add any pre cooked vegtables you like (like just throw some green squash in a covered microwave dish to steam it then add it to the sauce or saute it first on the stove)
serve the thick meat & veggie sauce over your favorite pasta. I like it w/cavatelli.

Re: Need some Chop Meat recipes
Cheeseburger pie,
Get sloppy Joe mix and prepare the meat as you would be making Sloppy Joes.
Use 2 tubes of Pilsbury crescent rolls. Use the first one, put it flat on a cookie sheet (pinch the little holes so nothing can spill out) . After your sloppy Joe meat is done, Put the meat on top of the first Crescent roll sheet. On top of the meat, put slices of american cheese. Once that is done, take the second Crescent roll , put it flat and put it on top. Pinch the edges like you would on a normal pie, Bake it in the oven following the directions on the crescent roll tubes.
Then you have cheeseburger pie!
