Need some help (clomid related)
Chances are, I will have to take provera next week to bring on a period. IF I start it on Monday or Tuesday of next week (21st/22nd) when can I expect to get a period? I THINK you take provera for 10 days and get your period about 2-3 days after. If this is the case, I should be getting my period around February 3 (my birthday - ugh!). Then I would start clomid CD3 (Feb. 6) - when would I need to be monitored for ovulation? The reason I ask is because DH and I are going away to Vegas Feb. 18-21st and I am worried that I won't be home during crucial days where I would need to go in for blood work/sonogram. Can anyone help me figure it out? THANKS!

I usually get my period about two weeks from the first provera pill (or 4 days after the last).
If you start clomid on cd 3 for five days, they will prob want you in on CD 12-ish.

Re: Need some help (clomid related)
It has been my experience that when i start clomid on CD3-5, they bring me in CD10 to see how everything is going. From there, depending on how the follies are progressing I'm usually in every 3-4 days It is so hard to plan trips around all this monitoring

Re: Need some help (clomid related)
I am in the middle of taking provera right now. I'll be done with it tomorrow, so I expect to get my period around tuesday. That would mean Thursday for CD three. Clomid for CD 3-8 and then probably in for sono/blood around CD12. If you are away it will be fine. You can go in before you go away and they'll see where you are.
