need some help with motivation
I am on week 4 of WW and I think I am getting a little bored. I am craving the foods I shouldn't have and slipping here and there....
I have lost almost 5 pounds already - I have another 5 to go. For once in my life I actually want to reach a weight loss goal - someone have any words of encouragement for me to stick to it?

Re: need some help with motivation
You can do it! It sounds like you're doing very well w/ your weight loss. If you're bored switch which plan you're doing!
and those extra 35 points are to cushion any "slip ups"

Re: need some help with motivation
You're half way there! I got bored with it too at the half way mark (only my half way was 10+lbs).
If you need to indulge a little do it. Plan your week for the one thing you do want. As long as you include the slipups in that 35pts, you'll do fine.
Nothing was more frustrating to me than going up a pound because I didn't follow. That was motiviation enough.

Re: need some help with motivation
It may sound bad, but for a week or two I wasn't 100% on program but still lost. It took one week of me gaining 1 lb to kick my butt back in gear.
If you are craving these foods, why don't you try to work them into your day instead of going over your daily points?
You really can do it. The last 5 lbs are probably the hardest, but you will get there in time if your're consistent!!

Re: need some help with motivation
Jen-- just keep at it...
I once got some really good advice-- take a month, and look at it like a month long project. Keep tabs on what you eat, when you work out, etc. make charts, etc. and stick to it for one month.
After that-- you wil be so entrenched, you won't want to give up.
Also, if you are getting bored with food-- do you subscribe to Hungry Girl??
You should-- and check out her site-- there are a TON of swapping recipes for things even like onion rings, mozzerella sticks and frappacinos!
And to boot-- she went to Albany!! I had been a subscrivber for a while , then I was looking through an Alumni mag and there was a whole spread on her.
