Need some meal ideas for my 9 month old
So my 9 month old is pretty much rejecting all baby food now. He will still eat fruits and some veggies, but all he wants is real food.
So generally he will eat whatever we eat, but there are times he can't have what we have so I need some more ideas for lunch and dinner. I made him pastina with turkey meatballs and shredded carrots yesterday and he loves it, honestly he loves everything.
But for some reason I feel limited with ideas...
Also is there anything "special" you make for DC? Anything that they really like?
Thanks!

Re: Need some meal ideas for my 9 month old
I take homemade hamburgers and throw them into the Magic Bullet with rice (so there's texture from the rice), and then give her the veggies on the side.
Just the other day, I took chicken, and pulverized it in the bullet, and then added fresh cooked pastina to it.
Basically I take whatever we have eaten for dinner, and throw it into the bullet and pulverize it, and then once it's done add either pastina or rice into it for texture, and feed her a veg on the side.

I'm not familiar with the magic bullet. Does it turn it into a puree that you have to spoon feed? My 10 month old really wants to do it herself, and is getting impossible to spoon feed.
Some finger foods I've been giving her:
Edamame with the skin popped off Cherrios (of course) Saltines Shredded meat (whatever I'm eatting) diced or sliced fruit black beans peas

That's exactly what it does.... It's in lieu of a food processor - it's a mini chop chop but I swear this thing is on STEROIDS!!!!!!!

That is part of our issue, he will take it off the spoon still but he really wants to feed himself more often too. He isnt a puree type of kid anymore, he loves texture and chewing.
The Edamame and Beans are ideas I didnt think of! Thanks!
