Hopefully you'll have some answers with the sono.
Have they checked your progesterone?
1880 to 2200 in 24 hours isn't actually a bad rise. It should double in 48-72 hours, and you're only looking at a 24 hour rise.
FWIW, I had bleeding with both of my pregnancies and I have 2 very healthy children now. Also, I had MS with my first and nothing - at all - with my second. Every pregnancy is different so you can't compare. Just hang in there a few hours more!

I'm sorry you're going through this. I had bleeding during my first trimester (off and on until 10 weeks). I had a subchoronic hematoma. Bleeding doesn't always mean miscarriage I hope all is well with the sonogram.

I'm sorry you're going through this. The only advice I could possibly give is what I always HATED to hear, but was true - - hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. 
Honestly, I've never had a good outcome when I've seen blood. No matter if it was light, heavy, brown, pink, or red. Any sign of blood in any of my pregnancies always ended badly. But I've heard of so many women who do experience blood and do have successful pregnancies regardless. So that's why I was always stuck in that "cautiously hopeful" limbo because you just never know.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you. Did you have your sono yet?
