Need Steak House Rec's for NYC
Going to the city for my b-day and we need good recommendations for a steakhouse. I don't like seafood, and if we do Italian, we'll wind up with chicken parm, and that is boring.
Want to stay in Times Square area, but will walk a little to find a great place.
We want a meal, not small portions for a ridiculous price. Not into things like a slice of tuna on a banana leaf for $25.
I'm a meat and potatoes gal.
help please!!!!!

Del Friscos .. amazing. Not right in Times Square but close enough .. right by the tree too! and the food is awesome!

I've been to BLT Steak and its really good, but I think the portions are a little small there compared to other steakhouses. We always love Capital Grille... even though its a chain the quality is really good and its not crazy expensive. I think there is a new one pretty close to Times Square. Also Smith and Wollensky is always great.

i take DH to one every year for his birthday, and Del Friscos is by far our favorite. Capital Grille is also very good, and near Times Sq and Rock Center. I don't love BLT Steak's actual steak, but if you go there the popovers are amazing!!

DH took me to BLT Steak for my 40th and it was good.
Since it was my bday they brought me any sauce that I wanted and 2 desserts! It was sooo yummy. DH eats only chicken - I wanted Delmonicos but it's not on the menu. Keens is suposed to be good too.

ETA: Oopp sorry didn't see you picked BLT steak is great, you def have to try Del Friscos they're steak is AMAZING and I'm not a huge steak eater!!
