need suggestions for pregnancy pics
I want to get pictures taken but am unsure as to what to wear. Anyone have this done? I don't know what kind of background to choose, color to wear etc. I'm very fair skinned with blonde hair and blue eyes. I don't want to look washed out. Any suggestions?

Re: need suggestions for pregnancy pics
I am thinking about doing this- but in a few months (I'm only 4 months and look more fat than prenant). I want to have a nude affect (without getting nude). I was thinking about wearing a skin colored tank.
If you want something more striking, I would wear mid-light blue - it should bring out your eyes. It is also a very calming color.

Re: need suggestions for pregnancy pics
the photographer I'm using does her maternity portraits in a white nightgown--very flowy like. I might have a friend take mine though.
here is a link to my friends' website with her pics...as you can see she wore several different things.

Re: need suggestions for pregnancy pics
If it were me and was concerned about looking washed out - I would go black & white. Take the pictures in color & desaturate them - if you're having someone do them for you.
I like the white nightgown idea - but in my opinoin if you're trying to do them yourself (with DH taking the pictures), you're better off outside with natural light.
Otherwise professional pictures - I'll assume they'll know what's best.

Re: need suggestions for pregnancy pics
My friend does family photography - she just did an awesome pregnancy shoot. She did the pic in black and white with a blue and pink bow on the belly. I'll see if she'll let me post some. I agree with the black and white suggestion.

Re: need suggestions for pregnancy pics
I was actually just gonna go to Glamour Shots or one of the stores like JC Pennys, Target or Sears. I am having a friend take some pics at the beach in B&W.
