Need Suggestions for Punta Cana hotels please!
I have been to DR many times but never to Punta Cana and DH and I may want to go there. If anyone could recommend any hotels there I would really appreciate it. We kind of want adults only though!

Excellence seems to be the premiere spot for adults only in Punta Cana.
We went to Iberostar Bavaro -- it wasn't adults only--but it was beyond fantastic and we loved it.

yes we went there a few years ago and it was great!!! service, resort, etc. were unbelievable. just far from airport ; takes a long time to get there because the roads are so bad.... i just looked it up and its closed until 2010 for renovations! wow!

That's not true....I'm going in June and the resort is open!
I just went on the website and it says will reopen july 2010. heres the link....

i went to excellence and loved it. Sivory Punta Cana (right next door) is another great choice.
