Need suggestions regarding middle of the night feeding

DS is 5 months old and is still waking for a bottle in the middle of the night. I’ve read that by 4 months they should not be doing this. I know he is not waking just for comfort b/c I try to rock him back to sleep and he cries for the bottle. He drinks a 6 oz bottle and I change his diaper and he is back to bed in 20 minutes. Sometimes he never even opens his eyes.

I agree with this....when is his last bottle before he goes to sleep?

DD is 3 months...she takes her last bottle at around 8:30...I dream feed her at 11:00 about 3 oz...she's been waking at about 5:00-5:30...

My pediatrician told me to feed him cereal with his last bottle...so at around 9pm I gave him cereal with 5 ozs of formula...last night was my first night and it worked. We'll see how it worksChat Icon

I am going to try this tonight. I am not sure if he will drink it though. When he is out he wants no part of the bottle.
