Need to finally share this....
A while back I had posted that Lucas was favoring one side and basically tilting his head with the chin pointing out towards his right shoulder. I had mentioned it to my pediatrician who was great about listening to my concerns. He said that while most kids out grow it, if I was concerned then so was he. He gave us exercises to stretch DS and we had to stop the swing cold turkey. That was around the time we decided to sleep Lucas on his belly.
By 4 months he was perfect! My DH took Lucas to his 4 month appt and met with the nurse practitioner who told him that we could stop the stretching. It was really bad advice  If you look at the progression pics I posted you can see the tilt all along...but at 4 months you can see he looked great. 5 months - we were back to where we started 
So the head pediatrician referred us to a Pediatic PT (who I absolutely adore) who diagnosed Lucas with Left Tortocolis. She has been working with Lucas on a weekly basis and has taught us how to stretch, rotate and strengthen his neck muscles. We have been doing it as much as possible every day.
As of yesterday, Lucas has full range of motion and the tilt is gone! We did notice that he is raising his shoulder to compensate and the doctor confirmed that this is all normal. So we have new exercises to help him and when she sees him she actually moves the bones (We were instructed on how to do it but every mommy red flag has gone off and I can't do it...nor let DH do it. If Lucas get's worked up - which he always does - and moves around we really could snap his neck.)
So...I finally feel like I can breath a sigh of relief and I can final say something without feeling like I will jinx it. My little boy has been a real trooper with this and we finally have the news we were hoping for. That has been our adventure these last few months. Our goal was to correct this by Christmas and it looks like we might just do it! 
ETA: If you look at progression pics I have to admit that the tilt you see more pronounced because he had to look towards that direction at the camera. He was diagnosed with a mild case from the start at 5 weeks...even at 4.5 months when we went to the PT.
If you look at the 6 month pics when he is looking at the camera straight on you can see he is perfect...well to me anyway.

GREAT NEWS!!! One of my twins was diag with tortacollis at 3 months too we were then put into the eatly interventiopn program and at 17 months he looks perfect!!!! the pt stops by every once in a while to check on him but hes doing great!!!!!!! glad to hear another baby got caught early enough!

That is fantastic news, I'm sure you are relieved that he is getting better. Kudos to you for being a vigilant Mommy and noticing it, and sounds like you have a great pediatrician, I know alot of times they tend to not take what Moms & Dads have to say.
I'm sure the stretching excercises will help and you will reach your goal by christmas!!
