Need to RSVP to a party, what do you think?

our Chat Icon will be just about a month old. We will probably be gone for about 4-6 hours. Do you think it would be too soon to the leave the baby with my mom? I plan on breast feeding but wasn't sure about pumping, I was going to play that one by ear. If i dont pump I would obviously have to give him formula that day.. not sure what to do. Chat Icon

I think 4-6 hours is fine and you could always leave early if you're worried...

I was thinking it was fine too. I would feel bad leaving early since its at a resturant but at the same time they would completely understand

I think it's fine.......if you're BFing you may need to pump while you're there.

I think it'll be good to get out for a little but too.

As long as your DS will take a bottle on top of BF than I think it is fine. My DD wouldn't take a bottle for anybody so I ended up EBF. With my DS I introduced the bottle and BF at the same time and he had nipple confusion and it was difficult to BF.

I think it would be okay if you are feeling up to it. For 4-6 hours you will probably need to pump at the party. 4 hours maybe not but 6 I would think so.
