Re: Need Vegtable/Fruit ideas For 12+ Month olds
sweet potatoe and apple
Spinach and potatoe mash made with olive oil and garlic
over cooked string beans with some olive oil I then use my hand chopper
what about making a vegatable soup and pureeing it then adding some rice?
orzo and brocolli with some garlic and olive oil
when I make meatballs I put mushrooms and carrots in them. I also do the same with my meatloaf
I also season all her food like I would eat it so I don't know if that make a difference or not.
Hope this helps, this just from the top of my head

Re: Need Vegtable/Fruit ideas For 12+ Month olds
Every weekend after I go grocery shopping I make a big fruit salad to last the weekend for snacks and lunches. I put a lot of his favorite in there (bananas), but I also put a little of other things he won't pick up on his own. I'm kinda tricking him, but while grabbing handfuls of banana off the try, he'll pick up pieces of apple and pear with it. If I left those on the tray by themselves, he wouldn't touch them.
Also, when I make chicken, sometime I'll put a turkey or chicken gravy over it. If I mix in the veggies he normally won't eat and they get a little gravy on them, he has no problems with them.
A little butter on some veggies really helps them become more edible for DS too. Like he won't eat potatos normally, but if I put just a little butter on mashed potatos, it changes his whole attitude and he can't get enough.
Also, if he does like mashed potatos, that's and easy one to hide another veggie in that's cut up really small or pureed, like carrots.

Try putting it on your fork or plate and letting him take it off of there - sometimes HOW you give it makes all the difference.
I chop up very finely - broc and cauli and put it in with their pasta (sauce counts as a veggie too!).
Squash in with their mac and cheese, and I finely cut carrots and stringbeans and add to meatloaf or meatballs. You can also do any veggie and add it to breadcrumbs when you make chicken, etc.
Oh and banana/strawberry smoothies with a straw - they love this!
