Need window treatment ideas (with pic)
DH and I are moving into our apartment next month. The walls will be an off white (thats what they paint them) with white molding. We have a huge set of florr to ceiling french doors in the living room that lead to the deck. I need suggestions on window treatments!!!! Our living room set is very formal (we're going for a very formal/put-together look). The pic below is NOT our house -- its the pic from online. Our walls are MUCH lighter -- like an eggshell color. This is the living room set: It has some sage greens and beiges in it. ANy ideas or pics or pictures that anyone cpould share for curtains would be fabulous. Oh....I also have no clue what COLOR to do the window treatments in. Like I said....the living rooms set is mainly in the neutral beige, sage green category. Our dining room set (which is right next to the living room) is dark wood with a vase of off-white roses on the table (I dont know if that helps at all???).
Thanks!!! Jenn

Re: Need window treatment ideas (with pic)
it is somewhat hard to make suggestions w/o seeing the actual pics. to mainitan the formal decor, i would definetly use silk treatments (although they might get dirty if the doors are utilized a lot). regardless of fabric, i would opt for either soft beige, an ivory or white w/ a dark brown wood rod.
