Need your help—1st bday party related
So, my good friend's daughter's 1st bday party is tomorrow and it's at a catering hall. What the heck do I give?
If the party were at a house or a restaurant, I probably would have spent around $75, but the fact that it's at a catering hall (and not a crappy one) has me perplexed!
Both my husband and I will be attending and there's a cocktail hour, DJ, the works! What should I give?

I would give the same amount as what you would have given if it was at a house or restaurant.

One of my friends had her daughter's 1st b-day party at a hall. I ended up buying a pink piano from barnesandnoble.com and also giving a check for $100.
