How many of your neighbors have keys to your house? Is three excessive?

Re: Neighbor ?
None- we don't feel that we know any of them well enough.
When I lived in Queens my closest friend in the area had a key, but I have known her since I was 15. Now I live farther away; if there was a good friend here I would probably like for her/him to have a key. You just never know when you might be locked out!

Re: Neighbor ?
one did... IMO i don't see the need to have 3 of them have keys buti guess it can't hurt if you trust them

Re: Neighbor ?
Two. Our next door and across the street neighbor have keys. Both me and DH work and have pets at home and both of these ladies are stay at home moms. God forbid anything happens during the day i gave them keys to try and save my pets.

None. IL's live 1.5 away but I'm not sure if we will be giving them a key. FIL likes to stop by w/o calling.

None.
Our good friends live 1 mile away and they know the code to our garage door opener and have a key in the event we have no electricity and lock ourselves out.
