Neighbor saga continues: 1:11am and heard them having SEX while Dh was feeding our daughter!
Talk about feeling very WEIRD!!! OMG I literally feel sick to my stomach! it was like we were there with them. This was what I was dreading...especially since we've had so many problems with them making noise. And now it has happened and I don't know if this is something I want to hear all the damn time! I tried to drown out the squeaking of the bed, by putting the TV lounder because it was so loud but it didn't help. The only thing that helped was that it was over in 5 minutes. ***vomit emoticon***
THIS APARTMENT SUCKS!!

OMG I would find that so hysterically funny! But I would worry that they might hear me. I used to room with a couple that had loud sex and my husband I used to find it very funny!

I don't miss my apartment at all....
I use to have the same problem, I would go and knock on their door, seriously. I'd go upstairs, knock and say " would you mind having sex in the living room, I am trying to sleep" and just walk away.
Problem solved!!!!!!

You could file a complaint but I am willing to bet based on what you have said about them before that they will either a) willl never get evicted as long as they pay rent and do not destroy the apartment or b) make things worse for you and your family. I know it stinks and you shouldnt have to do this, but I would consider moving.

That's the one thing I don't miss about apartment living!
My old neighbors used to have sex in their living room, which shared a wall with my bedroom (and the wall where my bed was). Let's just say, I never formally met the couple, but I knew without a doubt what her husbands name was!

yea me too. if DH and i heard the neighbors having sex we'd mute the tv to get the full effect!
at least it doesnt last very long! sorry you have to put in an uncomfortable situation.

I don't think we would have heard them if they had a better bed!! JEEZ get a new one that doesn't squeak so friggin loud so I dont have to hear you and your husband going at it like Jack Rabbits for 5 minutes?!!!
Personally I plan to let them know...I don't care if they get upset, embarressed or whatever.

Same thing happened to us a while back and we wrote a general letter to all surrounding neighbors about "noise" in the middle of the night. We left it under the door of all the neighbors and asked if the culprit could please adjust their furniture.  We also sent a copy to the Board of Directors of the co-op. The late night noise stopped after that. I guess they moved the furniture rather than breaking up or anything since they did have a son about a year later.

it's sex. people have it. it's to be enjoyed. it's not their "fault" really that you can hear them...it's the building.
if you think it's the springs, get some WD-40 and leave it at their door step...if you want to further elaborate, leave some KY Jelly...lube for EVERYONE!
