neighbor with dead trees

our next door neighbors (possibly renters) have to dead trees on the edge of their property.
is there anyway to make them take them down?

if they are renters- you would need to contact the owner

are they near any wires? b/c then maybe the town would get invloved

You need to contact the owner of the property. I would do this in writing sending it by certified mail and requesting a signed receipt. Explain the situation, i.e. how the trees look, where they are located, and then inform them that if these trees fall on your property and cause any damage, they are legally responsible. Once you put them on notice and have proof of it, they can't claim later that they did not know. If any dead branches are hanging over the property line and are infringing on your property, you have the right to cut them down.
