Neocate users....cost question
DD was put on Neocate on friday evening. I'm currently fighting with my insurance co., but once it is settled I know they will cover only a small portion of the formula....
After a $500 deductible they will reimburse 80% up to $2k/ year. I hate that I have to lay all of the money out first.
I was wondering...those of you who have had to pay for Neocate, approx how much does it cost per month? Everywhere I look the formula is between $35-$45 per can, and the can is only 14oz. I'm trying to figure out how many months the $2k will get us through.
TIA!!

Re: Neocate users....cost question
Have you tried calling Apria Healthcare? Thy deliver to your door, and they will dela with your insurance. They charge a much lower rate, so whatever your share is will be much lower. their number is 877-536-8372. FM me if you have any questions.
Good luck!

Thank you-- that was my next step. I tried calling them on friday after Addy's ped visit, but it was after business hours. I am going to try again tomorrow. Cross you fingers for me that they can help!!!
