Netflix and X box 360 question

how do I get netflix to go through my x box? This may sound silly, but I am totally confused...do I have to hook a cord up from my internet to the xbox?

Re: Netflix and X box 360 question

A - xbox needs to be connected to the internet (wired or wireless) depending on which xbox you have

B - you need xbox live (yearly xbox service)

C- you need netflix account

Alternate solutions, buy a smaller media player that doesn't require a yearly service or take a tablet/phone and connect it to the tv

Other game systems that dont require service fee are wii, wii u and ps3

Thank you! I didn't know this! I am pretty sure we have ps3 as well, so I will try that...I would still need to connect it to the internet right? Also, as far as tablet, could I hook up my ipad? It already have netflix, but would I be able to view it on the tv?

No idea about the tablet, but PS3 you don't need an online subscription. I stream netflix through PS3.

You can get a cable that connects your iPad to your TV via HDMI cable. If you have a PS3, go that route. Its easy to do. Yes, it would require an internet connection as well but there is no yearly PS fee like Xbox.

For PS3 and Wii, you don't need any kind of account.

We also have a Sony Blu Ray player that does Netflix, Amazon Intant Video, Hulu, etc.
