Neurologist recommendation for Cervical Spine Issue...

Kenneth's Neurologist is rated top ten in NY and NJ. But he's *IN* New Jersey. It's worth it for us because Ken's injury is so serious. Not sure if you want to travel that far. His name is Dr. Jonathan Fellus - he is probably one of the most amazing men I've ever known. Just baffles me! He is - there are no words.

BTW, cervical spine, have you checked out an orthopedist? Is the injury to that part nerve-related because, I thought, that ortho docs usually treat this.

I think if I had to pick a number two it would be Kenneth's amazing Neuro-doc-duo of Dr. Ashesh Mehta and Dr. Salvatore Insinga - they are from Northshore LIJ/Manhasset. He still sees them for follow-up appointments. They did his amazing life-saving surgeries. Dr. Mehta took the skull out, fixed a deadly blood clot. Dr. Insinga put the skull back weeks later and inserted three shunts into his brain. Dr. Mehta, later on, did another procedure to install a remote that will control the shunts and how much/little they drain. You can't see any of this, of course - it's all in his brain. It's just amazing. They are brilliant, compassionate, and remarkable. They really are the very best. I love them.
