I would not consider a color like blue or green a "neutral."

No? Darn ! I am renting a house ,and I have been spending days ripping wallpaper down ( I got permission) ,but I was told only to paint it a neutral color ! I don't know why he cares so much ,when he had golf club and checkered wallpaper everywhere Chat Icon

Well he is probably so happy you are ripping it down for him Chat Icon but he is also thinking about when he does eventually sell or re-rent the home.

If you want to do blue or green he might agree to it if you agree to repaint everything beige or white when you move out. Chat Icon

I would keep them on the light side, like a pale green or pale blue. and def. tell him you will paint everything white when you leave. allowing you to paint is huge!!! Chat Icon
