I cried through the whole thing too. He was my favorite male character. And based on the next episode, my fav. female character is next to leave
Looks like Carter will be back...all we need is Dr. Ross up in this ER to go out with a bang!

Next episode looks great but so sad too. Carter coming back! 
Dr Ross coming back I heard wasn't happening because George Clooney wasn't approached, at least not YET.
I also saw on the news awhile ago that Dr Greene would be coming back but in flashbacks.

I didn't watch but I KNEW it.
I loved him. This is so cheesy - but his character grew so much on this show. Remember when he started out and was a pompous arse? They really gave him good character development.
And I'm glad to hear that Abby is leaving. Good riddance.
